Who says Pizza always has to be savory? Put some Dough to the Side, and save a little Space, it can be just as delicious and versatile.
For 1 – 2 Pizzas
200 g Pizza Dough – see here!
250 g Crème fraîche
1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
8 Plums, or any other season fruit (Apples, Peaches, Strawberries)
50 g ground Almonds
1. Put the Crème fraîche into a Bowl, add the Sugar and Cinnamon and whisk it together. If it is a bit too thick, add a splash of Milk. Cut the Plums in half, remove the Stones, and slice into Sixths or Eighths.
2. Preheat your Oven to 250 Degrees.
3. Flour your Work Surface and using a Rolling Pin, roll out your Pizza Dough and place it onto a floured Pizza Tray. Spread the Crème fraîche over the Dough leaving a little edge, scatter on the Plums, drizzle Maple Syrup over them, and finally sprinkle your Pizza with the ground Almonds. If you like, add a little more ground Cinnamon too.
4. Bake for about 5 – 7 minutes until the Pizza Base is crisp and the Plums are slightly cooked.
